The Harte & Garter is an amalgamation of two 14th century inns: The Garter Inn and The White Harte. In the late 19th Century they were joined together to form The Harte & Garter Hotel, a building in the 'Jacobethan' style, much loved by the Victorians and reflecting the Shakespearean connections. Following its GBP 7.5m redevelopment, every care has been taken to ensure the hotel has retained its historic charm. The interiors are now a remarkable combination of modern and classical design. The hotel offers 79 bedrooms, retaining many original features, many with unrivalled views of Windsor Castle and 7 elegant private dining and meeting rooms. They come equipped with modern amenities, such as flat-screen satellite TV and complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the hotel. The new Tower Brasserie & Tea Room serves classic British cuisine. The original stables are being transformed into a luxury spa with 4 themed treatment rooms, perfect for a weekend of indulgence.
