Built in 1923 as a grand bank building, the building was extensively renovated with many original features lovingly restored in 1998 to create The Bank Hotel and has recently undergone a large refurbishment programme in February 2008. The Bank Hotel comprises nine bedrooms of a 3* standard, each one individually created to reflect the work and lives of a famous Scot.
